Commodity Course 203 Introduction
Welcome to the Virtual University of Investing Course 203:
Placing Your First Trade. In the previous courses, you learned about identifying
chart formations, mock trading and how to use the mock trading tracking sheet.
In this topic, you will learn more about placing your first trade. We will start
off with a short topic on
picking a broker. We will go through the steps for deciding
which commodity to trade including when to
go long or short,
what contract month to trade, the
number of contracts to trade and
different types of orders to use. We will also go over a
story of someone placing an order and what is actually happening. At the end
of this on-line course is a
Forum of
questions & answers from other students and a
review story to reinforce the topics covered.
By coming this far, you have already taken a large step toward operating your
own business trading commodities, a business that will allow you the opportunity
to get ahead in life. No longer will you have to commute to work or answer to a
boss. You are well on your way, so keep up the good work. |
